Skippering

Whether you have staff on holidays or want to have a few drinks with your friends for a change, we can provide qualified crew on a daily rate. Sea Trials

When buying a boat we understand that you often end up on the sea trials with the current owner and the broker. No real surprises that the people on board want the sale to go through. Why not hire a skipper for a half day for an impartial opinion before you go to the next step and spend money on a survey….

Own Boat Tuition

Just bought your new pride and joy but not feeling super confident yet. At Blue Ocean Marine we have experienced staff to help you set up the systems the way you want them, trace down how everything works and get you ready to be the confident skipper of your new boat. If required we can also help you work out a list of priorities of things that need to be attended to on your vessel.

Sailing Tuition

With the price of fuel starting to get pretty scary there is definitely a shift in the number of people looking at getting into sailing. For many people coming from motor boating sailing seems like hard work and is complicated. Blue Ocean Marine is happy to help you make this transition and specializes in own boat tuition and guidance when looking at making the switch.
